Summer is a time for relaxation, sun tans, drinks, and of course catching up on that bookshelf. My bookshelf always seemed to be filled with books I have yet to read. Mostly because I can't stop myself from going into a book store if I see one, and I almost always leave with at least two books. It also doesn't help that Chapters is constantly emailing me with deals and new releases. So because of my problem with having more books than I am reading, I've decided for the months of June, July, and August, I won't be buying anymore books and just reading the ones I have at home.
Here is a look at my summer list:
1. Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris - second book of the Sookie Stackhouse series
2. Club Dead by Charlaine Harris - third book of the Sookie Stackhouse series
3. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo - second book to six of crows
4. Game of Thrones by George RR Martin - a reread now that the TV series has come to an end
5. The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks
6. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
It's a short list, I decided that I would rather make a small list and complete everything and read more afterwards than to make a huge list and feel unaccomplished at the end of the summer.
So there is my summer reading list for 2019, stay tuned for the reviews of all these books and more!
