Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hello readers!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday and rung in the new year with people they love.

This year my little brother came to Ontario from Newfoundland to spend Christmas and New Years with myself and my boyfriend. We had a wonderful time exploring Ottawa, and introducing him to all our friends that we have made in the last couple years.

This Christmas was very different from my boyfriend's and mine's previous Christmases. This was our last Christmas between just the two of us! That's right! We are expecting!! We have a little one due in June 2020. We're so excited to expand our family, and welcome the little baby into this world. We won't be finding out the sex of the baby, keeping it a surprise. Preparing our pittie for a baby is an interesting ordeal but I have no worries that once the baby comes he will be just as loving and protective over the baby as he is over myself.

An exciting and thoughtful gift I received this year was from my boyfriend, he got me the entire series of Harry Potter books. Although I have already read them, I was still very excited to get this, because I had never actually owned my own copy of Harry Potter books growing up. I read them as they were released, however I always had to borrow them from the library or from a friend. I had been talking about buying my own copies for awhile now, and now that I have them I read them out loud to the dog and to the baby.
